Catholic Community Services of Northern Nevada awarded $35,000
in 2007 for Rural Outreach Programs in northern Nevada. Funding for
this program comes from the Diocese of Reno and CCSNN.
The grants were awarded as follows:

St. Paul's, Winnemucca received $5,000 to assist
with indigent services, including rent, food, and
gas vouchers.

Holy Family, Yerington received $5,000 to
provide families with emergency assistance and for
educational materials in its "Rite of Passage" ministry.

St. Robert Bellarmine, Fernley received $5,000
to assist with food distribution, gas vouchers,
Crisis Pregnancy Center, and Senior Meals Program.

St. John Bosco, Battle Mountain received
$5,000 to assist families with utilities
expenses, prescriptions, temporary
lodging, food, gas, and bus tickets.

St. Joseph's, Elko (at left) received $5,000 to
assist with its Prison Ministries.

Our Lady of Tahoe, Zephyr Cove received $5,000 to assist families with toiletries, food, dictionaries for school children, and summer recreation youth passes.
St. Teresa of Avila, Carson City received $5,000 for the Community Counseling Center in Carson City.
